Pitney Bowes renews partnership with eBay

Pitney Bowes Inc. has announced the renewal and multi-year extension of its partnership with eBay Inc. that enables U.S.-based sellers on the e-commerce site to reach international buyers via eBay’s Global Shipping Program (GSP).

The partnership, which launched in 2012, is designed to support eBay’s GSP, which offers a “sell internationally and ship domestically” policy for U.S. eBay sellers. In this program, Pitney Bowes manages the multiple steps required for cross-border e-commerce transactions and shipments, including calculating duties and taxes, completing customs forms, and international shipping and tracking.

Pitney Bowes also provides eBay sellers with the ability to USPS postage labels directly from their eBay accounts at eBay.

“The Global Shipping Program gives us the unique opportunity to work with one of the largest e-commerce players in the world, as well as millions of small and medium-sized businesses looking to grow their sales internationally,” said Lila Snyder, president of commerce services at Stamford-based Pitney Bowes.
