HAYVN, billed as “the first women-centric, flexible, coworking space in Darien,” will open with at 320 Post Road at a ribbon-cutting event on May 14 at 9:30 a.m.

HAYVN’s 7,000-square-foot work space offers single and multi-office spaces, conference rooms, and a podcast room for up to a year commitment. Other features include a welcoming lounge, reception area and kitchenette for open conversations and networking events. Support staff and services — including technology, career, marketing, and financial workshops as well as access to health insurance – are also on offer.

“HAYVN welcomes all women – and men — or companies that support women, allowing us to build a community with fellow female professionals,” said Felicia Rubinstein, the firm’s founder. “Women can network with like-minded individuals, offer support, create and collaborate together productively.”

Rubinstein worked at General Electric and Apple Computer for more than a decade before leaving the corporate world to start her own business, 341 Studios, one of the first virtual workspaces for independent contractors and freelancers.

“As a woman in the workforce for more than 30 years, I recognize the need for women to be supportive of one another,” she said. “I believe all women will succeed if we help each other and provide opportunities for one another, while also having some fun along the way.”
