The sale of single-family residential homes in Connecticut in November dropped by 0.9 percent on a year-over-year measurement, according to new data from Connecticut Realtors.
Sales of townhouses and condominiums in Connecticut during November increased by 5.3 percent from November 2016. A total of 679 units were sold last month compared with 645 in November 2016. The median sales price for Connecticut’s townhouses and condominiums in November was $159,999, up from $150,000 one year ago.
Total home sales nationwide – which includes single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops – was up 3.8 percent in November from the previous year, according to the National Association of Realtors, with the median national home sales price of $248,000.
