The Circle Hotel Fairfield has debuted its Mural Project, which will turn the exterior walls of its property into a public work of art.

The first mural was created by Frankie Fieri, the owner of Fairfield’s Three Roses Tattoo Studios, and features a honeybee-themed design. The murals are the latest in a series of art displays at the hotel, following an earlier exhibit of the bronze sculptures “Paparazzi Dogs” by Australian artists Gillie and Marc.

“The Circle Hotel Mural Project gives us the opportunity to feature both locally and nationally-known artists, as well as offer a platform for us to collaborate with local organizations like Fairfield’s high schools, Sacred Heart University and Fairfield University,” said Ed Gormbley, managing partner at the Norwalk-based real estate investment firm Workforce Partners, which owns the hotel. “We’re excited to add some color to the Post Road landscape, and we look forward to hearing what locals think about our mural project.”

The mural will be on display through the fall, with a mural created by New York City graphic designer Brian Kaspr slated for winter.
