Valley128 Holdings LLC, a Greenwich investment holding company that owns a controlling interest in the regional home maintenance services provider HomeSquare, has acquired Hinged, a Westport-based provider of a cloud-based platform that connects property owners with home service providers.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

HomeSquare has offices in Stamford, Scarsdale and Pleasantville and serves clients in Westchester and Fairfield Counties, while Hinged’s service providers are primarily based in Fairfield County.

“Under common ownership, HomeSquare and Hinged are now uniquely positioned to pursue their mission to modernize home services and solve the core issues that have plagued the industry with notoriously poor consumer experience” said George Liu, founder of HomeSquare.

“Hinged and HomeSquare have pursued complementary paths in a common mission and are now well positioned with this acquisition to accelerate their future success,” added Tye Schlegelmich, Hinged founder and CEO.
