Burgerim fast-food chain opens first Westchester location

The first Westchester franchise for the Israel-based Burgerim fast-food chain has opened at 1137 W. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.

Founded in Tel Aviv in 2011, Burgerim offers a menu lineup of mini-burgers that are slightly larger than sliders, along with lamb, chicken, salmon and veggie patties plus a variety of toppings including avocado, fried egg and pineapple. The menu also includes chicken wings and milkshakes.

Burgerim’s U.S. operations have primarily been focused on the West Coast and Texas, but the company is seeking to expand its Northeast operations. A second Westchester location is being planned for Dobbs Ferry and the first Fairfield County franchise opened in June 2018 in Brookfield.
