USTA names New Zealand brand official wine of U.S. Open

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has announced a partnership that names New Zealand’s Kim Crawford Wines as the official wine of the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.

The new multiyear agreement will begin with the 2019 U.S. Open, which runs from Aug. 26 to Sept. 8 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. Kim Crawford Wines will also conduct a sweepstakes from July 1 to Aug. 31 that will provide the winner with an all-expenses paid trip to the 2020 U.S. Open.

“The rising popularity of the Kim Crawford Wines brand in the U.S., along with its impeccable reputation around the rest of the world, blends perfectly with the unparalleled culinary offerings at the U.S. Open and brings an enhanced experience to our fans,” said Lew Sherr, chief revenue officer at the White Plains-based USTA.
